"Blue Pond" and "Sky Reflection" was taken at the Barton Dam. Over the summer, I trained with the Skyline Cross Country team and some days I would run to the Barton Dam. A few years ago, my mom and I would run through a loop that included the trail that is next to the Barton Dam. I would hate it, but this past summer I loved it because we would go and swim in it. Very refreshing!

"Pink Woods" and "Bright Woods" were taken in woods that were near my old house, it reminds me of the house that I used to live at and the trail that my mom and I used to run through there too. In my opinion, I really like "Pink Woods". it's exotic but you can still tell where it was taken because of the tree in the middle. Also, if you look at the trees in the middle it looks like it's leading to a tunnel.
"Blue Trees and "Fall Trees" were taken up north in a place that we go to every year. I made "Blue Trees" blue because in it is near Lake Michigan and I try to bring out the blue to remind myself of all of the stories I have had up there. One story is when I was sleeping very close to the waves and a huge wave came and made everything wet. I woke up out of breathe and couldn't calm down for a while. In the photo I bring out a red part of a tree to represent the danger I went through, because I could've been taken out to the lake.
"Diverse Trees" and "Bright and Colorful Trees" were taken in my neighborhood where I live now. "Diverse Trees" is my favorite photo. I love the colors and the oil painting affect. It has pink, green. yellow, brown, orange and red. I named it "Diverse Trees" to represent all the different things I do or used to do while at my new house. I have played the Saxophone for three years, and this is my third year playing piano. I have played soccer and hockey too. I have also learned to juggle, and learn how to like running and reading.
"Bright Trees" and "Red Tree" was taken near the stadium field at Skyline. Over the summer, I went to this field for at least three hours a day not including the scrimmages that Skyline holds that anyone can go to. I went there to work on one specific skill, outside curve. This photo reminds me how if I really want to do something, eventually I will be able to do it. At the end of the summer, I had it down, but I still have to practice it every time I have a ball at my feet because it took a lot of time and I'm not willing to give that up. So this picture also represents my commitment.
